Culatta Cavallo is a horse butt leather with tight grain structure and high durability, which means it's one of the strongest leathers you can find. This type of leather is often used for shoes for this exact reason. It can have many different looks, but this one specifically has a matte oily finish with pull up effect and is called Maremma. Another thing worth mentioning is that it contains two "shells", and you can clearly see where the shell parts are located when looking from the back of the leather.
